Booking Widget
Configures the inquiry form you embed on your public website. Submissions become leads.
For what the widget is and how it fits into the funnel, see Booking Widget on the Rentals side.
The embed snippet
This screen generates a one-line script tag:
html
<script src="https://app.fairground360.com/widget.js" data-token="YOUR_TOKEN"></script>Paste it into your website wherever the form should appear. It renders in a self-resizing iframe, so it fits its container without a scrollbar.
Configuration
Fields
Choose which fields appear and which are required.
Every required field costs you submissions. Name, email, event type, rough date, and a message is usually enough — the rest is a phone call.
Space picker
Let inquirers pick which part of your grounds they are interested in. Worth turning on if you have several distinct spaces; it tells you what they want before you call.
Date picker
With a flexible dates option. A lot of inquiries do not have a fixed date, and forcing one produces either a wrong answer or no submission.
Appearance
Colors so the form matches your site rather than ours.
Copy
The header text above the form, and the success message shown after submission. Say what happens next — "We'll be in touch within one business day" — so nobody wonders whether it worked.
Notifications
Who gets emailed when a submission arrives.
Spam
A hidden honeypot field catches automated submissions before they reach your board.
Token regeneration
The embed is tied to a token. Regenerate it if it is ever scraped and misused.
Regenerating breaks the live embed
The old token stops working immediately. Update the snippet on your website in the same sitting.
Testing it
Submit the form on your own site once after installing it, and check that:
- The lead appears on your board in the first stage
- The notification email arrives
- The success message reads the way you want
Then delete the test lead.
