Appearance
Dashboard
The dashboard is a configurable grid of widgets — what needs you today, rather than a report.
Each side has its own dashboard, and the layout is saved per person per side. Rearranging yours does not change anyone else's, and your Rentals layout is separate from your Fairground one.
Configuring it
Use Customize on the dashboard to choose which widgets appear and in what order. Turn off what you never look at; a dashboard you scroll past is not doing its job.
Widgets
Action items
The most useful widget on the page. Everything waiting on somebody, grouped:
- Signatures outstanding
- Tasks due or overdue
- Documents awaiting your approval
- Security deposits due back
Each line links straight to the record.
Stats overview
Headline numbers for the period: bookings, revenue invoiced, revenue collected, outstanding balance.
Renter stats
Roster health — total renters, active, new this period, and how the recurring/non-recurring split looks.
Revenue trend
Invoiced versus collected over time. The gap between the two lines is your receivables problem.
Upcoming bookings
The next events on the calendar with their status, so you can see at a glance whether anything close is still unsigned.
Calendar preview
A compact month view colored by space. Full version at Calendar.
Outstanding payments
Open invoices with balances, oldest first. The working list for chasing money.
Recent invoices
The last invoices created or sent, with their status and whether they have been viewed.
Security deposits summary
What you are holding, what is due back, and any card holds approaching expiry.
Expiring contracts
Agreements sent for signature that are approaching their expiry date and have not been signed. Worth a phone call before the link dies.
Quick actions
Shortcuts to the things you do constantly: new booking, new invoice, new renter, record a payment.
Reading it in the morning
A workable routine:
- Action items — clear anything that is blocking somebody else.
- Outstanding payments — anything newly overdue gets a nudge.
- Upcoming bookings — anything happening this week that is not yet confirmed needs a call today, not on Friday.
- Expiring contracts — resend before the link expires and you have to start the signature round again.
